6 Days Marangu Route

Known as the ‘Coca-Cola’ route, Marangu offers hut
accommodation with an extra day for better acclimatization.

Route Overview

The Marangu Route is the oldest and most established route on Mount Kilimanjaro. Often called the ‘Coca-Cola’ route due to its popularity, it’s the only path offering mountain hut accommodations instead of camping. This makes it an excellent choice for climbers who prefer the comfort of sleeping in beds. The route approaches from the southeast and is known for its gradual ascent, though it has a slightly lower success rate due to the shorter acclimatization time.
